Rachel Ramjattan, CFRE

Rachel is the best-selling author of No More Duct Tape Fundraising: A Nonprofit Leader's Guide to Becoming an Inspirational Fundraiser, and the National Program Director of Network for Good's Impact & Sustainability Team. Rachel has been actively fundraising since the age of 12. As the co-founder of a nonprofit, and the lead fundraiser in a one-person development shop for many years, Rachel understands the challenges of fundraising in small organizations and has achieved massive increases in revenue and donor retention rates for clients by implementing winning donor stewardship practices powered by right-sized technology.

Janet Cobb, CFRE

As a practical visionary, Janet Cobb integrates her skills in education, non-profit management, and fundraising, to offer innovative solutions to align money and mission. Janet has worked in and with nonprofits her entire career with a focus on fundraising and executive leadership since 2004. Janet began coaching small and early-stage nonprofits in 2014, and since then as supported over 300 organizations in the area of strategy, fundraising and communications.

Storytelling

Having the right message in your fundraising appeals is imperative to making the right outreach to your supporters. In this session, you will learn:
    • What tools you need
    • How to choose the right story and make the ask
    • How to create a multi-channel appeal
Fundraising Appeals
Monday, June 29 | 1:00 - 2:30 PM EST
Develop more thoughtful relationships with your donors by sharing impactful stories. This session will cover:
    • Surveying donors to understand their preferences
    • Crafting donor-centric communications
    • Continuing the conversation beyond the appeals
