Who should apply?

Any US 501c3 nonprofit entity (or organization operating via a fiscal sponsor’s status as a 501c3) is welcome to apply.

This grant program’s purpose is to promote fundraising activities and capacity building that can lead to revenue sustainability. The award is an unrestricted grant based on need and merit as determined by the grant committee at Network for Good, a certified B Corporation.

What do I need to apply?

You will need some basic information about your organization and its fundraising activities and history. Although not required to apply, proof of 501c3 status or fiscal sponsorship will be required prior to a grant being awarded.

Grantees are selected based on:

  • Fulfillment of eligibility requirements
  • Strength of the application with special consideration given to applicants that most effectively explain how they intend to use the funds to improve their fundraising and capacity building

What funds are available?

A pool of $25,000 is currently available. Average grants range in size from $1,000-$5,000. 

The Network for Good Grants Committee convenes quarterly to review applications, and will select winners for each month in the quarter. For example, Network for Good will announce the March, April, and May winners in July.

If I am awarded a grant, are there specific guidelines for submitting grant reports?

Yes. Network for Good's goal is to support your organization's growth in fundraising so that you can continue to do more good. Should you be selected for a grant, we simply want to know how the funds are being used and their effect towards promoting your fundraising activities and/or capacity building. You will need to submit a brief, 1-page report via email on grant impact 3 months after the grant award is issued.

Any claims related to the grant-making process are subject to resolution in Network for Good's preferred courts and in no event will Network for Good be responsible for indirect damages or class actions. Monthly grants are awarded in Network for Good's discretion and it reserves the right to award the entire $25k annual grant pool to a single recipient, multiple recipients or no recipient depending on need and merit of monthly candidates.
